写作文讲究“凤头”、“猪肚”、“豹尾”,即精巧、吸引人的开头,丰富的内容,点题有力的结尾。我觉得英语课堂的设置与过程安排也与此类似。如:英语课堂要求有激发学生兴趣的导课,有大的训练容量,同时也需要好的结束语来点化、深化课文内容,引起学生的思考,使之深化对课文的认识。 如:教授SB1A“Car Factory”一课时,我用这样的结语: T:Do you want to have a car of your own? S:Yes! T:But is it easy for us to have a car of our own? S:No! T:Why? S:We haven't enough money. T:Yes,we're poor,and our country is not rich either.But in America,most of people have their own cars,because America is a developed country.It has advanced economy and technology.What can we do?Should we make our country as rich and strong as America? S:Yes,we should.Now we should work hard so that we can do something for our country when we grow up. 这样的对话结语,不仅加强了对学生的爱国教育,而且激发了他们的学习兴趣和动力。 SB1B对话课“Women work”讲到关于男女平等时,我这样做总结:“It is not fair in China for men and women to do the same job without equal pay.Men and women are equal.They walk under the same blue sky together,so they should get equal rights in payment and employment.We———all of you and I should fight for women's rights.” 这段结语对学生进行了“男女平等”的思想教育,还引导学生要为此付出自己的努力。 讲SB2A“Saving the earth”一单元时,我这样结束: T:Have you ever been in a desert?How do you feel if you are in it? S:I'll be frightened. T:How do you feel when you are at home? S:I feel comfortable. T:Oceans and rivers are the home of fish,forests and mountains are the home of birds and animals.Can you imagine how they'll feel if their homes are destroyed?They'll have nothing to eat,have no place to live.They can do nothing but die.And all these things have been done by man.At that time,only man lives on the earth.Can he still survive without the things around? S:No,he'll not.If so,it will be like living on the desert. T:The earth is the home of all of us — human being,animals,birds,fish and other living things.Saving the earth is saving our home. 简短的对话足以在学生心灵上产生强烈的震撼作用,对环保引起高度重视。 如果认真推敲,我们英语课本的每一单元都隐含着进行思想教育的素材。这就要求我们教师准确把握切入点,并对课文主题进行独到的挖掘、提炼。这样,学生在课堂上既学到了英语语言知识,同时思想上又得到潜移默化的教育,陶冶了情操,净化了灵魂。
