Hello, my name is Zhao Yue. I am a student of TEHS where I have studied for more than five years.

Speaking of what really impressed me in the past years, I guess it must be going abroad. I went to Japan when I was eleven years old and then I went to America two years ago. I did have lots of great memories during those happy days, especially the days in the U.S. A!

Even now, I can still remember how many shops in that small American town where I have been. I still remember which Chinese restaurant was the best one. I still remember the beauti-ful sight in the nearest beach and so on. But what has impressed me the most was the school'

The school there was quite different from ours. Because the American students mostly have cars after sixteen years old, there was a large area for parking inside school. A large playground and some other places for sports made the whole High School even as large as a small college in China. The large and only school in that small town also received almost all the students of High-School nearby. All the girls have made up who looked very pretty. Most of the boys were friendly and they all liked playing basketball very much.

I was a student in that school for one month. I had six dif-ferent classes per day for which I also had to change six different classrooms. The short period between each class was only 6 min-utes and the lunch time was only one hour. So the time in American High School was tighter and more limited than that in China though Americans finished school much earlier than us.

In my opinion, teachers there were the most special and fun-ny people. Every teacher had his own personality, which could be expressed by his own classroom. To be different from our Chi-nese teachers, every teacher owned a classroom as his office. In China, the teachers move and the students stay, but in America the students move and the teachers stay. Different teachers made the classrooms different. My U. S. History teacher had put on many pictures of all the American Presidents on the wall, while my English .teacher had hung on many pictures from Japan for his wife was Japanese.

In a word, I have had a month time full of fun and memories in American High School.

By the way, the air there was so fresh and clear that as if I could still smell it and I would never forget that comfortable feel-ing. Every night in the sky the stars were bright and light, the moon was clear and clean. Less pollution will bring us better fresh air.
